The Slovenian national team at Euro 2024 with a special equipment: Jure Balkovec “honored” his national team colleagues before the matches of his career

The match of the Slovenian national team against Denmark at the European Championship is getting closer and closer every day, but our selected team will head to Germany with a very special kit, the main culprit for which is Jure Balkovec.
The member of the Turkish Super Lig club Alanyaspor decided to “honor” each of his national team colleagues with special personalized shin guards before the matches of his career. The full-back, in collaboration with the company Camparisport, prepared Slovenian-colored shin guards for each of our boys.
The background of this piece of equipment is marked by the Slovenian flag, adorned with the emblem of Euro 2024, the player’s number on the jersey, and all of Slovenia’s opponents in Germany with the addition of the date and stadium where the match will be played.
Another shin guard is designed similarly, only replacing the number with an inscription. In the case of Jure Balkovec, it features the phrase “The sky’s the limit,” but what is written on the shin guards of the other representatives remains a mystery for now, although it is a piece of equipment that will find a special place in everyone’s memory upon returning home.
