Anton Žlogar is satisfied after the first two matches of the 2024/25 season. The Primorec, who honestly did not bring much joy to the fans of Mura with results in the past competitive year, first defeated the Prekmurje rival Nafta and on Saturday, Domžale. The black-and-whites celebrated a 2:1 victory at the away game by the Kamniška Bistrica river, with goals from Leard Sadriu at the end of the first half and Amadej Maroša at the end of the match. Mura was, honestly, the better team, and Anton Žlogar emphasized that their victory was deserved.

“In the attack phase, we had quite a few problems in the first half. After the twentieth minute, we gave too much initiative to Domžale. We knew they had fast players. I think the biggest contribution to the victory this time came from the players who came off the bench. We started the game very well, increased the tempo, and gained confidence. The second goal was in the air. We had quite a few good situations. In the end, we won deservedly, and I congratulate the boys. These are tough matches. Domžale is a team that is our equal. We will be fighting for certain positions with them. Still, I think we controlled the match. The substitutions brought quality, which made us more dangerous. I think the victory is deserved in the end,” said Anton Žlogar after the victory over Erik Merdanović’s team.
