Radomlje approached the postponed match against Krim with a rejuvenated squad: Quite a few of them are in a hurry to join the under-19 national team

Radomlje anticipate the match against Krim after two challenging tests against Mura and Olimpija. The team led by coach Aljaž Gornik left a positive mark both times, which is a good sign before the end of this year’s championship. Before that, there is the postponed match against Krim, which the yellow team will play without youth national team players Ula Omerzu, Ana Gerjolj, and Nuša Vidrih.

Additional burden will fall on the younger girls, including Taia Doles. “We will play the match without Ula and Ana, so the younger players will have additional responsibility, and each of us will have to perform at the highest level during the game,” realizes the young midfielder, one of the cadets, who is gaining senior experience this season.

“I expect a tough match because the players from Krim will surely be motivated and aiming to keep us as much as possible. Although we will have a younger lineup than usual in this match, we must show our character, fighting spirit, and good psychological preparedness. All of this will lead to a well-played match,” emphasizes the seventeen-year-old ahead of Sunday’s test.

The encounter with Krim is followed by matches against opponents from the top of the national championship standings. “We have had two demanding tests against Mura and Olimpija, where we were able to test the aforementioned aspects,” Taia says about the last two matches, which the Radomlje team lost, but they presented themselves with a promising performance.

For the young member of ŽNK Radomlje Medex, there are 15 official appearances in the senior competition, how did she cope with the demands? “I approach each game as relaxed as possible and with the thought of playing the game in the best possible way at that moment,” Taia Doles responds.
