Cookies (cookies)
The basis for the cookie notice is the amended Electronic Communications Act, Official Journal of the Republic of Slovenia 109/12, 110/13, 40/14 – ZIN-B, 54/14 – Decree No. US, 81/15 and 40/17 (ZEKom-1), which entered into force at the beginning of 2013 and introduced new rules on the use of cookies and similar technologies to store or access information stored on a user’s computer or mobile device.
What are cookies?
A cookie is a small text file that is downloaded to a user’s computer when they visit a website, usually containing the name of the server from which the cookie was sent, the lifetime of the cookie, and its value – a randomly generated unique number.
The cookie itself does not contain or collect information. However, if it is read by a server together with a web browser, this can help the website to provide more user-friendly services, e.g. to remember your username and password for future registration or to remember previous purchases or account details. Only the server that sent the cookie can read and use the cookie. On a trusted website, cookies can thus enrich the experience. However, cookies may also be used in ways that interfere with an individual’s privacy. Cookies are not harmful and are always time-limited.
Purpose of cookies
The purpose of cookies is to improve the performance of the website and the user experience when browsing the website. Cookies make the interaction between you and the website faster and easier. They help the website to remember your personal preferences and experiences. Thus saves time and makes web browsing more efficient.
Planet Football cookies
We use only cookies on this website that are permitted under the ZEKom-1 Act. Only cookies that are strictly necessary for the operation of this website are used. To record statistics on the website’s traffic, we use a system that only records a session cookie and does not track your further behaviour on the website or in relation to other websites. By continuing to use this website, you agree to the use of the cookies described below.
Some of the cookies we use are temporary and some are stored on your device for a certain period of time, even after you have left our website. Temporary cookies measure the number of visitors to a website, which allows us to check the effectiveness of the display of content and the relevance of advertisements, and to continuously improve our websites. The cookies we store store contact details for subsequent visits to the website so that you do not have to log in next time or so that the web content is adapted to your device. We also use stored cookies that originate from other websites, e.g. Facebook, Twitter, Google and others. If you do not agree to their use, cookies will not be set.
In addition to the above, we also use cookies to track how you move around our websites, what content interests you and how long your visit lasts. This allows us to edit the content of the website and tailor it to your needs.
We process the data we collect through cookies solely for statistical purposes and for the purposes of collecting visitor demographics and interests (but only in a way that does not reveal your identity), for identifying server problems, for website editing and product information, for tracking the user through different websites, for tailoring content to their interests, and for marketing and advertising purposes.
