Radomlje officially confirmed our reporting: Mlinarji have a new coach; in the battle for survival, Darjan Slavic has taken the reins

Just before the end of the season, Radomlje in the battle for survival in the Prva Liga Telemach have got a new coach. According to our exclusive reporting, the new coach of the Millers is Darjan Slavic. Previously, he worked in Murska Sobota, where he was initially an assistant coach in the senior team’s coaching staff at Mura at the beginning of the season, but after the arrival of Anton Žlogar, he took over the leadership of the youth team. He didn’t stay long on the bench of the latter. After the mutual termination of the contract, which was supposed to be valid until the end of the season anyway, Darjan Slavic waved goodbye and moved to Radomlje.

“We have been following Darjan and his work for a long time. He also recognized our project, so this is a long-term solution. We believe he will bring new energy and help us stay in the league. The team is talented and of high quality, and with the help of the new coach, we go confidently into the most important part of the season,” said Radomlje’s sports director Grega Marinšek.

It is worth noting that part of the coaching staff will continue to be Luka Žinko, who briefly took over the leadership of the senior team after the departure of Oliver Bogatinov.
